Thought-provoking lyrics, soaring melodies and infectious kickdrum are integral aspects of the patchwork quilt that is Indigo Joseph. With their high energy blend of dance, rock and folk music, the band has been privileged to showcase at several national caliber industry events such as CMW, JUNOFest, and NXNE.

They handily won 104.9 the Wolf's "Queen City Rocks" battle of the bands. The prize, including a two thousand dollar bursary and airplay on the Wolf, prompted the band to go back to the studio to record their song "Others". The new single debuted in full rotation on 104.9 the Wolf beginning August 1st, 2013. In fall 2013, "Others" was named CBC Music's "Indie Song of the Summer" out of over 150 different tracks from across the nation. The song hit #1 on the CBC R3-30 chart and stayed in the top 10 for 8 consecutive weeks.

Things haven't slowed down for the band in 2014, as they were recently awarded Rawlco Radio's $10,000 prize to professionally produce a full length album.  Exciting things lie in the future for this band, so be sure to catch their fabulous live performance on the Saturday night of the festival.
