The Pistolwhips infuse indie rock songs with bluesy guitars, driving rhythms, and hooky vocals.  Taking influence from bands like Led Zeppelin, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Kings Of Leon, their personalities are easily identifiable throughout their songs.

On the strength of their self-titled EP (released in fall 2012) they have shared the stage with The Sheepdogs, Robert Randolph and The Family Band, The Boom Booms, Monster Truck, and Dragonette. Having showcased at Canadian Music Week, JUNOfest, and the Sasktel Jazz Fest in 2013, The Pistolwhips continue to gain momentum with each show.  Mere days before the release of this lineup, the band became the second act of this festival to be awarded the lucrative Rawlco Radio $10,000 prize to record and promote a full length album this year.  Be sure to catch this promising young act while tickets to their show are still relatively cheap!
